Upcoming September Dividends
I have a goal for my dividend payouts to match my business income. That’s quite a goal, and I expect it will take years for me to reach it.
But in the meantime, I will be collecting dividends on the shares I own. I am pretty happy with the income I currently bring in, considering that I don’t need that income yet to live.
So, looking at the coming month of September, I wanted to visualize the income on a calendar.
| Date | Stock Symbols | % of Total Dividend Income | Payment Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aug 31, 2022 | DSL, VVR | 9% | Monthly |
| Sept 1, 2022 | ERH, INTC, PDI, PHK | 13% | ERH Monthly, INTC Quarterly |
| Sept 2, 2022 | ZWP, ZWU, ZWB, ZWC, ZPR | 26% | Monthly |
| Sept 13, 2022 | HYLD | 10% | Monthly |
| Sept 15, 2022 | ENS, EIT | 15% | Monthly |
| Sept 19, 2022 | MFC | 7% | Quarterly |
| Sept 29, 2022 | GWO, TROW, VTI | 8% | Quarterly |
| Sept 30, 2022 | IFN | 5% | Quarterly |
| TOTAL | 93% |
So I have quite a few dividends coming in this month.
Some of them are quarterly distributions and will not repeat in October. But most of them are monthly, and we expect to see them again.
You can see from the above that the BMO funds, which I love, make up about one-quarter of my monthly income. And no other single ETF makes up more than 10% of my income.
This is not counting the income from my RRSP or GICs, which are in a separate account.
